Spectacular Firework display L'Olla de Altea in honour of Saint Lorenzo.
Every year on the 2nd Saturday in August, Altea celebrates the Fiestas of Saint Lorenzo with a huge maritime Firework display known as the Castell de l' Olla.
This year this spectacular event will take place on Saturday 9th of August. The event has a 30 year history and is one of the "must see" events on the Costa Blanca and for all pyrotechnic fans.
The display can be admired from the L' Olla beach in Altea but traditionally people take a boat trip out to enjoy the display from the sea.
Boats depart every year from Benidorm and Calpe
