World-class pianists Daniël Wayenberg & Martin Oei will visit the Costa Blanca this December with 5 unique performances. Piano maestro Wayenberg at 85 years of age, has performed with the New York Philharmonic and Royal Dutch Concert orchestras.
Martin Oei at just 18 has already made a name for himself and has recorded 3 cd’s, the first one when he was just 14 and premiered internationally at the Beethovenfest in Bonn. He bagan playing the piano at the age of nine, one year later the Young Musicians Academy at The Fontys Conservatorium accepted him. This is a fantastic opportunity to see Daniël Wayenberg play quatre-mains with Martin Oei right here in the Costa Blanca.
Wayenberg broke through internationally in 1949 and is considered as one of the best pianists ever from the Netherlands. Recently the two played quatre-mains in the presence of the Dutch queen Máxima. The famous duo from Holland will play pieces by Brahms, Albeniz, Chopin and Rachmaninov in a variety of venues on Steinway concert pianos.
