Once again Benidorm holds the 32nd edition of the Bicycle Day for Everyone on the 12th of April 2015.
Anyone can take part in this non-competitive event, regardless of age. The aim of the event is to encourage healthy habits and to re-inforce the use of the bicycle as an alternative form of transport. Helmets are obligatory for the event.
The event will start from the Plaza SS MM Los Reyes de España at 10:30 taking the route along the Avenida Mediterraneo, Calle Bilbao, Avenida Severo Ochoa, Avenida Albir, until you reach the Trinquet. Refreshments will be provided by Coca Cola, before the return journey along the same route.
At the end of the event there will be a raffle for all participants who produce the ticket given to them at the start of the race with prizes including 15 bicycles amongst others. This year the event is sponsored by the Benidorm Sol Cycling Club, the Benidorm Cyclists Union, Coca Cola and Sport Zone (who have donated 5 of the bicycles to be raffled) as well as the local security services
