Benidorm Carnival celebrations this year will start on the 6th February and end on the 9th of February. The Childrens Fancy Dress parade will be held on the 6th at 11:00 a.m.
The parade will start from the Calle Escuelas and pass down the Calle Ruzafa and the Calle Herrerias ending at the Plaza de SSMM Reyes de España. The adult fancy dress parade will take place in the evening starting from the Calle Venus at 21:30, continue down the Calle Ruzafa and end at the Plaza SSMM Reyes de España.
The traditional "burial of the sardine" will take place after the funeral parade which will start from the Playa Mayor at 21:30 hours. Once the funeral parade has arrived at the Parque de Elche , the sardine will be incinerated and the fire work display will officially end the celebrations.
