Everyone has heard of Benidorm, the city is well known throughout Spain and Europe and its prestige has been earned over many years. Today there are three 5 star hotels, thirty two 4 star, hotels, seventy four 3 star hotels, fifty three 2 star hotels and twelve 1 star hotels.
The last hotel to be built is the Hotel Asia Gardens, a 5 star hotel situated 150 metres above sea level with spectacular views of the Costa Blanca and close to two of Benidorm's golf courses as well as the theme parks Terra Mitica and Terra Natura.
Benidorm is constantly changing and adapting to the needs and demands of the tourist sector. One of these new concepts is the “Adults Only” hotels where children under the age of 15 or 16 are not permitted. There are many couples who do not have children or just would like to enjoy a quiet holiday in a child free environment. These hotels guarantee the type of holiday they require with no worries. LGTB Tourism is also important with Benidorm being one of the popular Gay Tourist destinations offering 32 establishments in the old town including a small hotel, bars, pubs and cafeterias.
